Using the Site

 

 

Home Page at Login

At Login you will enter the site at the HOME PAGE.  This is where you will see any ANNOUNCEMENTS and a list of the UPCOMING BIRTHDAYS.

Followed by THIS DAY IN HISTORY highlighting dates and events followed by a few chart hits of the day.

 

Right Side Menu

WHO’S ONLINE NOW
This will be a list of anyone on line at this time.  You may click on any name on the list and be taken to their profile page where you are able to post messages to your selection or even send a private message to that selection. Select Home from the left menu to return to the Home Page.

 WHERE WE LIVE
Who lives where - click links below to find out.
List of States with the # of Classmates living in that state (as we have been able to determine).

Show Classmates on Map
This will plot each Classmate on a map, you will also have the option of plotting a state which will show you a marker for each Classmate and if you select that marker it will show you who that Classmate is!

Classmate Profiles 
User has created a profile; Profile contains photos; In Memoriam; Military Service. You may select any of the four to see a usable list of classmates using each of those criteria.  And from any of those lists you are able to click on any name, to be taken to that classmate's Profile Page.

The Search button will show a place to enter a classmates name (or any part of one) and be taken to your selection's Profile Page
The Show Yearbook Photos will give you a class list, alphabetically by class photo.  Your selection will take you to their Profile Page, if they are a member, it will also tell you if they are not. 

You will also be able to sort lists:  Show By:  A-Z; Last Updated; Newest Members; Latest Comments.   Your selected list will allow you to choose any classmate and will take you to their Profile Page.  You may notice that if that classmate is going to the Reunion and/or attending any of the other events that weekend, their reunion selections will be printed under their pictures.

60th Reunion 
This is the Ticket / Activity Registration for Events, this is where you select attendance at any of the events for the weekend of the 60th Reunion.   Meet and greet at Rutt's Hut and the Park Tavern on Friday June 14th; the Hospitality Hour and Buffet Dinner on Saturday June 15th; Bye-Bye Getaway Breakfast the Candlewyke or Tick-Tock Diners on Sunday June 16th.  You will also be asked if you need a room or would like to play golf or pickleball, would you like to take a Bus Tour of Rutherford at Noon on Saturday, and what would you want to drink.  It will give you the ability to send in your fee or charge it right there on the website.

1964 History/Videos
 Here is where you can see the highlights of what was happening in the USA and the world in 1964 and watch and listen to videos of the songs of 1964. 

Missing Classmates 
This is list of all the classmates that have not signed up for the website for whatever reason.  If you have contact with any of them it would be great if they joined all who have joined.

In Memoriam
Click on the In Memoriam entry and you will be asked to select a method of 
Display:  By Year Deceased or Alphabetically
You may Check to see Yearbook Photo for each classmate.
CLASSMATES
Here is where you will select a classmate you desire to view.
Each selection has the In Memoriam for the selected classmate.
You may also post a comment specifically for your selected classmate by clicking on Post Comment.  You will be taken to a screen to type in your message and select SUBMIT at the bottom of the entry.
There is a Click here to see XXXX’s last Profile entry at the bottom of the classmates page.
If you want to return to In Memoriam simply click on In Memoriam in the left side Menu.

What’s New
When you click on this menu item you will be able to view anything that has been added to this website starting with the most recent.

Each class picture is a number and has the name of that student (if we have the name) and if you know a name there is an Enter the Kid(s) Number and Name button to make entries easy!!

Reunions and Parties 
This series of Galleries showing photos from the 20th, 40th and 50th Reunions and the parties of Jerry and Jan and Joe’s Mini reunion.
There are also the following instructions:
All Classmates can add their own personal photo galleries inside the gallery selections below. Click the images below to enter the gallery area. Then click the "Create Your Own Photo Gallery Here" button at the bottom of the page to participate. Follow the directions on screen to create your gallery. Only you can add photos to galleries you have created, and all photos you add will be credited to you inside your gallery!

Our Squads
Pictures of the cheerleaders, twirlers, flag wavers, color guard in portrait, in parades, at games and even the 1963 squads.

Over the Years
Follow this menu item to  find all the Newsletters from June 2019 till April 2024 (64 so far).  You can also review all of Ken Kazimir’s observations in  Ken’s Stories where you will find 36 of those very special stories of Ken, Jim Pell, Bob Oldham, Skip Huffman, Chuck Paulson and several others.  Almost all have been blessed with the drawings of Jim Pell or the zany pictures supplied by Ken.  RIP my friend!
In The Diamond Jubilee section you can see some outfits of the time, the parade, and several collectables.  Plus there is a link to the 95 page Diamond Jubilee Program Sep 15-22, 1881-1956, a fascinating look at the era in Rutherford history. 
The 20th Reunion Program is just that, a link that shows the Program everyone was given for the 20th Reunion. 
The Graduation Program is a link to each of the four pages of our graduation program.  Commencement in the Rivoli Thursday June 18, 1964 8:00PM.

These forums were designed for member postings of any kind….questions, observations, likes and dislikes; etc..  But alas, it never caught on…but it is still useable if you want to post something.

Message Forum
This forum is a little bit more used.  Simply put, if you want to post a message it is as easy as to click Post Message, type whatever message you desire and click Submit at the bottom of the page.
