Carol Lynne Tanzer (daughter of William S.Tanzer and Dorothy Cecilia Schaefer) was born June 30, 1946 in Weehawken, New Jersey, and died January 3, 2002 in Roseland, New Jersey. She married Joseph Uzzardi 

Carol Lynne Uzzardi, 55, died on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2002, at her home in Roseland. Mrs. Uzzardi was born in West New York and lived in North Caldwell before moving to Roseland two years ago. She was employed by Belle-Meade Development Co., in Roseland as a secretary for 13 years until the time of her death. Mrs. Uzzardi is survived by her husband, Joseph; her sons, Joseph Ryan Uzzardi of Brooklyn, N.Y., and David John Uzzardi of Roseland; a brother, Stephen A. Tanzer of Lake Mary, Fla.; two sisters, Ann Marie Gallagher of Morris Plains and Maureen Armatruda of Randolph Township; and a step-mother, Anna Tanzer of Morris Plains. 

A funeral Mass was held on Monday, Jan. 7, at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church in Fairfield, followed by private cremation. Arrangements were by Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, Fairfield.
