She loved being a teacher and often spoke of her prior students and colleagues. Virginia retired in 1985 and moved to Lanoka Harbor. In her retirement she enjoyed traveling, the outdoors, and loved to swim and bird watch. She had a love for animals and wildlife .She later moved to Holiday City where she lived for the last 15 years. Virginia was a very generous person giving to many charities over her lifetime. She was most proud to donate to the Salvation Army and Deborah Heart and Lung. During her later life she had many caregivers and we are thankful for the wonderful care they provided to her. The VNA hospice services provided excellent care for her prior to her passing.
