Hi Sylvan School folks--I can name almost everyone in the other 5th grade class. should i just send you a list, greg? I am back from my trip to wisconsin--the denver airport was scary in terms of too many people rushing around and congregating on my way home from MSP on southwest. i am definitely trying to quarantine for at least the next 5 days though i did go to an outdoor fundraiser last night, masked, of course, and tried to maintain 6 feet apart, but that was hard. But at least there was no hugging!!
just prior to my departure, i did some research on harold van gieson, whose mother and mine were actually friends! and of course, harold did buy my first car from me, the English Ford Prefect, at the end of the summer of 1964 when i left to go to BU. The website truthfinder says that he passed on 2/14/2016. I did swing through his town, Fond du Lac, also because that was where Colin Kaepernick spent the 1st 4 yrs. of his life! I really enjoyed Wisconsin but am glad to be back home in the Bay Area, even though it is smokey.
