Would love to see everyone! Let me know when in September you're getting together.

We're heading to SC sometime in the beginning of September.

Hi Everyone!!  Just back from our first cruise since Covid and we had a blast!!!  Gained too much weight, but time to lose it again....now!!!  hahahahaha

Patti has a reunion in September and her Dad's birthday is in September, so we are definitely planning on having a get together if we can get everyone to set a date.  I will let you all know when our arrangements are made and maybe I can then set up something in a location good for as many as possible!!

Love to see all....look so forward to it....I missed everyone of the past get togethers, so keeping my fingers crossed!!

Looks like I'll be in the Rutherford area mid September.....15, 16 or 17...still working on exact date.  I'm thinking maybe we could "stand at the counter" at Rutt's for lunch and maybe a dinner at the Park Tavern, one day, just to hit two places some of us spent many days in our youth.  I don't want to make any hard plans because of the way traveling, driving and staying are up in the air right now....but my father-in-law will turn 92 on the 18th and I know we are going to make that trip to NY state for that....sooooo....if we can get a realistic count, we may be able to make more solid plans. (I have looked at a hotel on route 3 and it "may" be a thought is the number is right.)

Hey Everyone....just giving a heads up regarding a possible stop in New Jersey in September.  Going to be missing this year, but "god willing" we will be there next September.  Just because I won't be there, maybe you guys would like to get together anyway!!!  I can ask everyone if they want to have a casual meeting in the Rutherford area sometime in the middle of September.  Maybe I can set up a location for a day (one of the local hotels) if there is enough interest.....I will be sending out emails to everyone as a follow up also.  Let me know!!

Hi All, I just perused all the messages and was pleasantly surprised by the enthusiasm surrounding a get-to-together of some sort for the remnants of the Class of 64. Although there are many of us who still live in the general vicinity, it is very hard to know how to respond to inquiries about a reunion of sorts without any idea of date, time, or accommodations. I'm wondering if anyone would like to step up and plan something for 2024? Maybe a group?? Thanks to Zoom, etc., we wouldn't all have to be in the same part of the world to meet and plan. Interested??

Hey Penny, did you move back to the "general area" and would you like to step up again for our 60th?  Weren't you part of the group for our 50th? This website it designed to help with organizing and monitoring a reunion, plus you know I have everyone's email from the Newsletter mailouts and I would be happy to assist in any way.  I think if I send out your post as an email, you will get much more of a response....let me know, I can do that pretty easily....

Greg,  I've been having a lot of trouble with my computer/email lately.  I wasn't in the 50th reunion but hope to be going to the 60th.  Can you imagine....60 years.  My how time flies.

Hi Class of 64 classmates! I'm sitting inside watching the thermometer which, unfortunately, doesn't register negative temperatures, but I'm told by the local weatherman that it is -9 with a windchill temp of-15. Fireplace is popping and all the gifts are wrapped and sent, so I figured I would send everyone a Christmas greeting! Have a great holiday and let's get our butts in gear and make plans for our next reunion in '24! (Notice I didn't say "last reunion." There could be a 70th! Take your vitamins!) XOXO Penny

Just wondering if anyone else leads as exciting a life as I do?  My Christmas greetings were from Shop-Rite and a notice from the synagogue that I made another payment.  Trying to remain calm.  (I made the font larger, so that i coild read what I wrote).

What's a 70th reunion?  Of course I know where I am - I'm on my favorite chair in my living room.  Count your blessings; Shop Rite didn't send me any Holiday Wishes.

Why don't we have a 60th & 70th on the same day. Who knows how many of us will be around at 88.

............Happy New Year 64' Classmates............
Hope everyone had a wonderful Hanukkah and Merry Christmas....or even Festivus for the rest of us (Thank you Frank Castanza)
Reunion sounds fun and I thoroughly enjoyed Joe and Bert's comments. Bert, the only thing ShopRite sent me was a circular which they do every week but they did change God Bless America to Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

How about one song with two "tonight"s in the title:  Tonight, Tonight" by the Mellow Kings (1959).  Do I win a prize?
